LKAB is an international group that sells sustainable iron ore, minerals and special products. We are leading the green transformation of the iron and steel industry by developing carbon-free processes and products like sponge iron. Since the start in 1890, north Sweden has been LKAB’s home base. Our identity is rooted in Malmfälten (“the Ore Fields”) – or more specifically in our mines in Kiruna and Gällivare.
