Tobias Stefan started with GroupeM7 in 2021 as Regional Director for Europe, Middle-East and Asia for Metal7, with the main focus in iron ore pelletizing equipment. Since 2023 he serves as Group Vice President Sales responsible for the business units Metal7, Cast7 and Enduride.

He holds a diploma in Mechanical Engineering as Dipl. Ing from Technical University Darmstadt in Germany and EPF Lausanne (SUI)

He started his career with Outotec Germany in R&D and Product Management for direct reduction technologies, both coal based and hydrogen-based, and was globally responsible for the technical marketing. Later he held various technical and business management positions in Outotec and MetsoOutotec, last as VP Ferrous Technologies.

He has been speaking at numerous conferences worldwide on iron ore agglomeration and direct reduction and served on various panels for hydrogen-based reduction of ores.
