Lars is the Director of Research and Technology Development for the Metso Mill Lining Business Line. He received his Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Luleå University of Technology in 1997. Previous to Metso he worked for Volvo Car and Volvo Truck Corporation as part of his studies. The work at Metso Mill Lining includes engineering design, structural FEA, DEM simulations, support systems, product development, material development, life cycle assessment and sustainable offerings. He has been working for Metso since January 1998.
