Come and listen to Linn Andersson; Executive Vice President (EVP) Strategy and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Boliden Group. The role, which is new to Boliden's Group Management, includes coordinating responsibility for strategy, business, and technology development as well as procurement and energy. Where is Boliden going? With newly acquired mines in both Sweden and Portugal Boliden is almost doubling its zinc concentrate production. At the same time capacity for zinc smelting has also increased heavily. Will Boliden continue to grow primarily in zinc or what does the future hold? What are the next steps in automation and how does Boliden see technology all the way from exploration to recycling developing?

Linn Andersson has an engineering degree in Chemistry from Umeå University and an MBA from Edinburgh Business School. During her career, she has primarily held several leading roles within Boliden Rönnskär, most recently as General Manager with overall responsibility for the business unit.
