The sensor works on the principle of magnetostriction. The measurement principle for high-precision determination of the position, the path and/or the velocity is based on a runtime measurement. On the basis of this touchless and wear-free functioning measurement system, HYDAC offers a version in pressure-proof stainless steel housing for complete integration in hydraulic cylinders. The various output signals (analogue/CANopen) enable the connection to all measurement and control devices of HYDAC ELECTRONIC GmbH and the linkage to commercially available evaluation systems (e.g. SPS controls).
