The RIEGL laser scanners VZ-4000 and VZ-6000 offer superior and unrivaled long range measurement performance of up to 4,000 m respectively more than 6,000 m reflectorlessly. Unambiguous measurement data at such extremely long ranges and high measurement rates are enabled by Multiple-Time-Around (MTA) processing. Any occurring range ambiguities are automatically resolved by RIEGL's software RiPROCESS by assigning the correct MTA zone to every single laser pulse echo.
Numerous built-in sensors and an integrated camera as well as the unique RIEGL V-Line technology with echo digitization and waveform analysis in real time deliver highly accurate, highly meaningful measurement results even in poor visibility and difficult target situations caused by dust, rain, haze, fog, etc. Thus, the scanners are especially suited for operation in highly challenging environments such as open-pit mine sites, quarries, and dump sites and ensure the acquisition of exact and reliable measurement data.
