The presentation explores Viscaria’s distinctive approach to local development, grounded in the company’s commitment to long-term social sustainability.Through the reopening of the Viscaria copper mine, the company strengthens local skills, supports Kiruna-based entrepreneurs and contributes to a vibrant and resilient community.The session will offer insights into how Viscaria builds long term value–locally and sustainably.Viscaria is one of Europe’s most significant new mining projects in Kiruna, the mining capital of Europe.The speakers will highlight practical examples of how industry and community can grow together.

Anna Tyni has more than 20 years of experience in leading roles within LKAB in Kiruna,including Operations Manager for the Leveäniemi mine start-up, Production Manager at LKAB’s beneficiation plant, and Production Manager at LKAB Berg och Betong and LKAB Minerals.Before joining Viscaria, Anna was Market Area Manager at BDX Företagen in Kiruna.She served as COO and later CEO of Copperstone Viscaria during 2020–2023.

Jörgen Olssonhas an extensive track record in building corporate culture, financing and profitable growth, notably as former Chairman and CEO of Hoist Finance with around 1,700 employees.In 2022, Jörgen founded Kiruna Växer, an organisation dedicated topromoting business and community development in Kiruna. He served as Chairman of the Board of Viscaria from 2020 to 2023 before taking on the role of CEO
