The world’s most productive zinc mine, Boliden Garpenberg, continuously keeps beating productivity records–how is that possible? One critical component is of course transporting the ore in the most efficient, sustainable and safe way: by hoists. In the last performance upgrade of the mine hoist at the Garpenberg mine, performed and de-livered by ABB–again, productivity rose to new heights.
